ABOUT ME
I have always thought I was a contradiction....
I am Filipino, but look somewhat Asian caucasian. Possibly it is the Irish in me. I am an identical twin despite wanting to be unique. I spent most of my career in Finance/Accounting though those two subjects were my least favorite in college. Growing up, I was never the most athletic, yet have trekked Mt Kilimanjaro and the Himalayans; run a marathon and various halfs; cycled thru the central highlands of Viet Nam; and hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim in one day. I am an introvert who pushes my density by traveling to hear people's stories and experience new cultures. And lastly, I appear nice-enough and polite on the outside, yet have weirdly comical thoughts on the inside. (I picture my husband smiling when he reads this part.) Some of my posts will be informational, a few opinionated, and a handful reflective. My intent is to write and make my voice heard. To paraphrase the author, John Green, you don't remember what happened; however, your memory becomes what happened. So as a disclaimer for all my posts, what I write is as I remember.
